Winemaking

Post by Liz944 »

I was wondering if anyone had tried winemaking at home? If you had tried at home, how sucessful where you? Was the end product palatable?

I ask as I have started my first ever batch of strawberry wine due to an excess of strawberries... but now full of doubts as to whether I have done the right thing.... fingers crossed will know the result in another 18 months...

That's good to know....

I normally screwthings up somehow.... also just started a batch of elderflower wine (what a piglet of a job that was... de-heading each of the flowers!)

I love wine! I would love to do some wine making or - better still - own my own small vineyard! :D
