Thank you for the plaudits gg333.
However, on the subject of unicorns, I only recently shared a conversation with a proselytising christian (you know the sort) who insisted, insisted that unicorns must exist because they appear in The Bible (specifically The Book of Job, Chapter 39 verses nine through twelve.)
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?se ... version=9;
so modifying slightly to what I said before:
[that] belief in unicorns existing, for instance, is in principle able to be disproven but to date no one has proven unicorns don't exist, the probability they don't exist is very very high but it can't be ruled out [in the same way gods can't be ruled out but almost certainly don't exist] [...] is irrelevant to the faithful because if you take this stuff seriously, or worse literally, you can believe in practically anything, the more nonsensical the better, particularly if the is no evidence to back up you wild-eyed claims, and you'll not feel at all foolish or embarrassed in doing so.
More power to the lunatic fringe it makes being an atheist a whole lot easier.
Not for the first time, I'm very glad that I don't believe a word of this inveterate rubbish.
