Contributions needed for new Dyspraxic Adults website
The recent update to the forum is part of a larger upgrade to make a Dyspraxic Adults a broader resource for dyspraxics.
To make this a success the site will need articles about all aspects of dyspraxia, such as explaining what dyspraxia is, advising those who think they may have dyspraxia along with tips and information about living with dyspraxia, to name but a few ideas.
Please let me know if you'd be interested in contributing to the site, which as always is based on the hard work of volunteers. Either reply to this thread of PM me.
Hopefully we'll be able to make Dyspraxic Adults the best dyspraxia resources on the web!
Thanks in advance,
Dan,
Dyspraxic Adults co-founder and admin

Re: Contributions needed for new Dyspraxic Adults website
I'll be willing to help as much as I can. I'd like to try writing an article about what dyspraxia is and all that jazz, I may also be able to help with the design/layout of the site if necessary.
Hope I can be of use,
Adam.

Re: Contributions needed for new Dyspraxic Adults website
Hi Adam,
Thanks for the offer of help. We're really needing some articles about dyspraxia for the new website. Unfortunately I'm really busy with work and some other big things at the moment and I think Pookie the other site admin is much the same, so if anyone can help out it'd be really appreciated.
Handy articles we could really use:
- What is dyspraxia?
- Am I dyspraxic?
- Getting diagnosed.
Amongst many others.
All articles will be credited of course. This is very much a community endeavour and we need the support of forum members to get the site moving.
Please reply or PM me for more info.

Re: Contributions needed for new Dyspraxic Adults website
Hi Kruby,
Thankyou for the offer. The website side is all ready set up which just need the content to go on.
Daniel has forwarded me some articles to place up as he has been a bit busy recently. But we still need more.

Re: Contributions needed for new Dyspraxic Adults website
I would be interested in writing short articles about being a late diagnosed dyspraxic and how it was hidden all those years and the coping strategies and affects of it on my life and those around me. This is new to me as I have only been diagnosed since the end of June this year.

Re: Contributions needed for new Dyspraxic Adults website
I have finally sorted out some of the website tonight. I would really like to get this live.
Articles are needed to go in the following category headings - basically how dyspraxic effects you as an adult and coping strategies as such.
About Dyspraxia in Adults
Getting assessed as an adult (I have lots on how to get assessed as a student, but not for us more older people )
Sports and Exercise
Communication and Relationships
Organisation
Education
Employment
Dyspraxic Experiences - bit like a blog section for those who would like to write a bit about themselves and share their experiences, diagnose, etc
Please can peeps help get some more articles together. Contact me for an email address you can send to.
