Happy New Year

Post by Tom fod »

Happy New Year all wishing you all a good 2019

Any ideas/activity to promote existence of and participation in discussions here would be welcome. Sorry v much scope to change retro look and feel, apart from the old evil banana and other emoticons which possibly are not everybodys' cup of tea

Thanks for the greeting, I pretty much stopped posting after I received a warning about something I posted which I did not understand and then later the forum seemed to have been hacked - today I have tried to respond to all the unanswered posts and have resubscribed to several topics after having unsubscribed from all following the hack.

I think the answer is that folk need to be encouraged to answer posts they did not start and also to subscribe to forums so they are notified of new posts by email even if they do not check the forum.

I hope and predict that this forum will long outlast Facebook and possibly other Social media Platforms as well.
