My Blog

Post by cricketman123 »

Hello all, My name is Sam. I have a mild form of dyspraxcia, to me, it doesn't affect what I do or how I am as a person. I am unique which everyone is. I love travelling and in the future I would love to travel the world. I am doing a travel course at College level 3 year 1 and next year will be of course year 2.

I am hoping next year as well I will be going to UNI and also possible an experience at Camp America but to start I am starting to travel this country. I hope to share my experiences with you on this thread and hope I can become a possible role model for other people on this site

Welcome to the site. I'm into creative writing, which is why I'm nearly finished my first novel, after doing so many drafts, I'm a perfectionist. A couple of mistakes or if something doesn't look right, then it can mean the whole of the story is started from the beginning.

I have an online Canadian friend who has also just written a novel. :) I'm in the process of reading it actually.

Well hello, thought I would update you how I have been getting on in the past couple of days. Obviously can't do a great deal but I have been getting my CV better to try and get a part time job to earn a bit of money

Hi Sam

Looking forward to reading more from you. I know a little about Camp America insofar as I met a few people who'd done it and were taking a break and joined Trek America small group holidays that I went on. This was before I really knew much about/understood my own Dyspraxicness since all but one of the trips were done before 2011. Nevertheless I met some really nice and interesting people from the UK, Europe and further afield and it was good for my confidence.

I don't want to impinge on your post thread but if you (or anyone for that matter) have any questions feel free to PM me. If you do go on to get in front of a camera and present 'a la Krystal' I very much think there is a niche to have a Dyspraxic guy's perspective too.
Please do feel free to post links if you have or create a You Tube channel.

Thank you very much for the kind words Tom. If im honest im not keen on the thought of creating a you tube channel at the moment though I would never say never.

Well today me and My mum went to a small town called Conwy. There was a castle which was built by Edward the First during his take over of Wales. It was built around 1283 so it is very old. The town also has some fantastic walls which are among the best preserved medieval walls in Europe. On a sunny day the views would have been stunning but it was a bit overcast and grey today.

The town is also home to Britain's Smallest house and when i say Small I mean it. I could hardly get in. It was only £1 to get in and see to nice and cheap. I have no idea how the last person who lived there who was 6f3 managed though, i found it hard enough and im 5f9

I also had some fish & chips which I must say were among the nicest I have ever had.

So yeah its been a good day and here are some pictures of the day
