Are you a messy eater?
I am a messy eater. I don't know whether this relates to gross motor skills or not.
Re: Are you a messy eater?
Yes and I suspect I eat too fast too. For example, when I eat a burger the bun is apt to disintegrate.
It could be regarded as coming under fine motor skills, though . I've always considered gross motor skills to cover activities such running/walking, whereas fine skills might include tying shoe laces, using a knife and fork to eat, sewing or working with fiddly things.
I could stand to be corrected on this. for example is driving a nail in to something fine or gross? or perhaps a combination?

I think you're right; it's both. Holding the nail steady is fine and aiming / timing the swing of the hammer is gross.I could stand to be corrected on this. for example is driving a nail in to something fine or gross? or perhaps a combination?
I'm not much of a messy eater but I am loud, or so I'm told.
Re: Are you a messy eater?
I'm not that much of a "messy eater" anymore, even though I unintentionally drop my fork sometimes, like I did when I was younger.
However, when it comes to food, I'm more of a binge eater.
