Hi,
I am a 22 year old male and I am looking for tips to improve my balance in particular. I have a terrible balance and I am terrified of things which require balance like walking on rocks/ uneven surfaces, trekking, riding a bike etc. What are some exercises that might actually work and help me to improve my balance?
Looking for advice to improve balance and co-ordination.

This thread http://www.dyspraxicadults.org.uk/forum ... ing#p31732 may be of interest. It's also worth mentioning to your doctor.

Hi thisismewithamask,
Do you enjoy any sort of ball game at all? I know many dyspraxics are not good at these, dislike them and avoid them at all costs. But equally, if you are partial to ball games, even if not much good at them, doing a lot them is a great way of improving balance and co-ordination that is a lot more fun than straight exercises.
If catching / hitting / throwing balls are not your thing - maybe try pilates, yoga, tai chi or any combination of these!
Best of luck
