Dyspraxic Me - Cooking workshop

Post by Dyspraxic.me »

Dyspraxic Me is a support group for young people aged 16-25 our next workshop is this Saturday.

Dyspraxic Safe Cooking With Dyspraxic Me and Max Muskett

Introduction to food hygiene, knife skills, cooking tips and tricks and food sampling with Max Muskett, The Dyspraxic Chef.

Max has had years of experience in the catering industry and you couldn't name a kitchen utensil that hasn't been thrown at him by the head chef for some sort of mix up with an order or an accident down to his clumsiness. With this workshop you'll hear tips, tricks and anecdotes relating to dyspraxia in the kitchen, and you'll work in pairs to make a risotto and a salad (both of which you'll be able to take home).

Dyspraxia can damage our confidence in the kitchen. It can make cooking seem like an unobtainable skill that takes years of practice and boundless knowledge. It can even get in the way of our enjoyment of food, Let's change this!

Also please let us know if you have any food allergies or dietary requirements.

The workshop will be at the:
Lift
45 White Lion St
N1 9PW London
In the Kitchen
On:
Saturday, 12 July from 11:30 to 13:30
