inheritance of dyspraxia

Post by ALADDIN »

I noticed a friend my have had dyspraxia because he is disorganised. He comes to work half a day late, despite being diagnosed during university, he did not complete his degree. His nephew was diagnosed with dyspraxia. His fasther is clumsy which must mean he has dyspraxia. His father is not a great driver. Is dyspraxia inherited, is there a genetic link ?

Yes Dyspraxia is an inherited condition . Theres a round a 50% of getting from your parents . There can be a few different reasons why it develops (sadly im not a neurologist so can't give you defernet answer ;))
