Dyspraxic Adults

I've never heard of Lyrica being used for anything other than fibromyalgia, and those that have used all tell me it causes weight gain, and has other adverse side effects. Any truth to this?

Lyrica is also useful for neuropathic pain (which is why I take it.) It's an SNRI, so possibly has minor antidepressant effects as well, although I don't think it's really all that good in that area, even if it agonises the correct serotonin receptors. It probably increases blood pressure and heart rate a little too, based on its activity on the norepinephrine receptors. ;o
