Lyrica is also useful for neuropathic pain (which is why I take it.) It's an SNRI, so possibly has minor antidepressant effects as well, although I don't think it's really all that good in that area, even if it agonises the correct serotonin receptors. It probably increases blood pressure and heart rate a little too, based on its activity on the norepinephrine receptors. ;oallesandro wrote:I've never heard of Lyrica being used for anything other than fibromyalgia, and those that have used all tell me it causes weight gain, and has other adverse side effects.
