Upsetting, but perhaps not too surprising for us.

Re: Unfair News Item
What a tool.
He seems to be assuming that dyslexia is a byword for illiterate. Well turn he needs to brush up on his Greek. Because it's a greek term and translates to "difficultly with words". In no way does it mean stupid or thick. And it's worth pointing out that many people whose classroom life was hell because societies lack of awareness of such things have still gone on to lead extremely successuful careers.
A few examples.
SIr Jackie Stewart, famous racing driver, still the only Briton to have won three F1 world championships, subquentially had a after career in public relations and broadcasting. Started his own racing team from scratch (today known as the all conquering Red Bull Racing), has been president of the British Racing Drivers Club and to this day is considered a legend and ambadvisor to his professions.
Richard Branson... One of the most successful entprenteurs in the country, his company "Virgin" which he begun from scratch has dealt with every thing from soft drinks, to finance, transport to space travel.
Tom Cruise, one of the most famous big screen actors.
There are many more.. Yet each example struggled at school to the extent that they could hardly string a sentence together.. But look at what they did despite all that.

What a complete fool, and people like that are running our country? No wonder we'er in such a sh*t state.
Cool I never knew that about Jackie Stewart, a true legend that man.

Indeed, his achievements are pretty exceptional by anyones standards. Yet he could hardly put a sentence together at school and basically got told that he was stupid.
I'd throw away the "stupid" tag... For wee Jackie.. I'd use "genius". A true inspiration of a man.
