Hello, I'm new

Post by CountryGirl »

Hi, my name is Sarah and I'm 18 years old. I was diagnosed with dyspraxia when I was 14 and I also have anxiety.
I've just finished college and am hoping to do an apprenticeship in agriculture. I love the countryside (as you can tell haha).
I decided to make an account here to meet people like myself and get advice. So...here I am.

Oh welcome country girl - I was diagnosed when I was 50.

I suspect Pete Guest may be interested if you write up your experiences of becoming an agricultural worker - have you seen the magazine he writes?

Hi Sarah and welcome

I grew up in rural Glos with parents who met at agricultural college (Hartpury). We had chickens and a goat and a few sheep and some of my friends work in agriculture. I also went to a few YFC events.

Thank you! That's cool, I went to Hartpury too and I'm a member of YFC.
