Dyspraxic Adults

Hello there, i am Saar. A lady from Ghent/Antwerp in Belgium in her twenties.
I am from Belgium and have a hard time finding a job ( i found one but no place for me yet)
I found this forum today and i am glad there is a board for dyspraxic adults ! You don't have this kind of attention in Belgium for adults with dcd ! Only for children ..
I had a lovely childhood ( minus the bullying but hey i now have a thick skin!)
I also have autism, dyscalculia and ADD and with dcd this makes me a weird person to talk to in person .
Sometimes i even think i have a light form of apraxia ? Wich is kind of frustrating ..
luckily i have my boyfriend and i can be myself in his presence .
And since a few years i found a loveling community in the furryfandom in Belgium and i now know really lovely friends to. And one of them also have dcd so we can talk about it wich makes me more comfortable at times.
I also make art and photo's but sadly can't make a living out of it.

Welcome glad you've found us. We do have a small number of members from wider Europe because as you note there sadly there isn't enough recognition of our difficulties (or our inner brilliance) so that many of us struggle more than we should have to.
