Hello

Post by Xenas-mum »

Hello all, I am a 47yr old mum and have just discovered that I have dyspraxia.
Should have realised I guess, been going to A&E since I was 2 with various accidents. Even had another MRI Good Friday after smacking my head 2 in one day about 4-6 months ago can't remember exactly when.

My youngest daughter who is going to be 11 in June also has dyspraxia.

I'm so pleased I've found this forum and am hoping you guys will have some advice about time management as mine is going from bad to worse at the moment.

Hi and welcome

Glad you've found us too

Time management/organisation are often a nightmare, though it's always worth remembering that things are sometimes beyond our control and trying to do things in a panic is not usually conducive to their going well.

We're all different in terms of the degree to which we're affected and the strategies we use to get by. Both the Work and Day to Day Living sections here should contain some useful content but do feel free to post more about your day to day challenges and hopefully someone may have ideas that you could adapt to work for you.

All the best
