Hello

Post by mjh1972 »

hi
my name is Mike and I was given a diagnosis of Dyspraxia by a College education specialist some 5 years or so ago.
I currently work as a Facilities Manager and generally I have had no issues in work until recently when issues have arised around my demeanor.

I am quite a loner and generally I don't like to socialise with people and have big trust issues with people as well
I have a partner and Two kids one of which has had issues (speech, and the way that he acts) although he is really intelligent.

I am looking forward to contributing and discussing issues with other members and to gain Valuable advice

speak soon

Hi Mike,

Welcome from a fellow newbie to the forum, though I am even more of a newbie when it comes to dyspraxia as I've not even been diagnosed yet and just recently heard about this disorder (which I seem to have been suffering from all my life!).

What kind of work problems does it cause, more of a practical kind (dropping stuff and not being able to work out certain technical things) or social (they think you don't socialise enough)?

Hope it tides over or that you can find a solution and that your family supports you in this time!
