Hi,
I'm Liam. I'm 23 (almost 24). I was diagnosed with Dyspraxia when I was 7.
I've been meaning to join this forum for a while now and have at last decided to 'take the plunge'.
I graduated from uni a few years ago and now work full-time in IT, which I enjoy but find I sometimes feel a bit isolated outside of work now that most of my closest friends have gone their separate ways. I'm hoping I can meet some like-minded people on here and make some new friends.
In the past, I have had a tendency to put myself down for my day-to-day struggles and apparent lack of ability when it comes to practical tasks - something I'm sure plenty of people on here can relate to. I'm now working on a more positive outlook and it helps to feel that I'm not alone in my experiences.
Anyway, enough about me. Just glad to become a part of this community at last and hoping I can make a positive contribution.

Re: Hi
Hi Liam
Another computer related person then (I'm a software developer). There don't seem to be too many of us on the forum, though I suspect that a number of my colleagues are the same - just of an age (late 40s and 50s) where it wasn't really given any consideration at school. Welcome.
Regards,
Phil
