Hi everyone,
I was recently diagnosed with Dyspraxia and wondered if anyone could recommend an experienced OT based in London, England who specialises in this area. I'm really looking to improve my motor-visual/ motor-integration skills. Thanks for your help.

Hi and welcome
Sorry I can't guarantee anyone here will be able to answer this, but hopefully I will be wrong.
It may also be worth contacting the Dyspraxia Foundation via an email or their telephone helpline number 01462 454986 (Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm)

Re: Occupational therapists in London, England
I've been looking for one as well, I would suggest going to your GP for advice and ask for a referral.

Thanks Nyx
Good point, though AC1 could be looking for a name so he can say to his GP, I've heard x is good, please could you try and get me a referral to see him/her.
As GPs are busy and may not be all that familiar with dealing with dyspraxia it can sometimes help if we can be more specific about what we would like to try to help them get us access to the help we need.

Re: Occupational therapists in London, England
Hi I have seen pre and post videos of people who have had Sensory integration therapy, hoping to organise some for my daughter and if and when funds allow for myself as I am convinced that it might be the long term solution to being organised, instead of being exhausted by strategies..... take a look at the SI network website. Here I need to declare an interest as I am an OT based in the Midlands working for the NHS and training to be an SI practitioner.
