*phone rings*
Me: "Hello?"
Him: "Hello, is Rob there?"
Me: "er, I think you have the wrong number *nervous laugh*. Sorry, bye"
Him: "oh okay. bye"
*click*
...
*phone rings 30 seconds later*
Me "Hello?"
Him "Erm, I think i have the correct number. Do you mind if I read it to you?"
Me "Er, yeah, sure."
Him "Reading, x x x x x x x x"
Me: "Yes thats the correct number"
Suddenly my brain twinkles
Me ( suddenly remembering housemate has bf called rob ): "oh, is he a guest here?"
Him: "no, he lives there"
At which point I then realise who he was after
Me: "OOOOHHHHH, you mean Bob!"
At which point I start jabbering along the lines of "we call him bob" or something. I run upstairs to his room, open the door.
Me: "No, hes not here. Would you like to leave a message?"
Him: "oh no, its okay. I'll call tomorrow"
The problem now being that I opened the door, saw him then said he wasn't there. *Somehow* I'd managed to not see someone sleeping right in front of me. *Plonk*.
Why oh why does Robert have do many variations? ;-)
