Changing light bulbs

Does anyone else struggle to change light bulbs,especially if you have to get on a chair to do it ? I always feel unsteady when I get on a chair.

Must admit I don't much like standing on anything which is small/narrow or feels too unsteady. Nor do I like trying to do things with my hands/fingers above my head where I don't have an easy/direct line of sight. That said I was/am usually too lazy to get step ladder out so stood on bed to change bulb in bedroom.
