Not sure whether this has a name/is dyspraxia related

Sometimes when I'm stirring stuff in a frying pan or saucepan my hand will do an involuntary jerk.

Hi, it could be worth mentioning it to any doctors you see. I have occasions where I do the same sometimes if I jerk holding something it can hurt. Not sure myself if it has anything to do with Dyspraxia or not. There's times where I've jerked involuntarily and hit my arm or elbow on a door, sometimes it hurts and sometimes I don't feel it at all.

Um, I know this was originally posted months ago, but I'm new here and just saw it. I get little involuntary jerks too. My partner first noticed it when I'm falling asleep (I think that's fairly normal), but they also happen at random other moments too. Like when holding a pan, or writing, or often holding a knife and fork, I'll be holding them and suddenly they crash into the plate randomly!
