Hi,
I've recently started to learn mindfulness and realised I've no idea how to sit straight. I've tried sitting in front of a mirror but still can't work out if my shoulders are level (I've got an astigmatysm too). Has anyone any hints or ideas for working it out or teaching yourself? Most of the materials I've seen online assume you've an inbuilt sense of where your body is in space. I'm grateful for any help or suggestions.

Re: Learning how to sit straight
Hi and welcome sorry for delay in response
Forgive me if I'm completely wrong but I assumed Mindfulness was as much imagining yourself in a calm and happy state/place. By all means seek someone else's opinion on whether you are sitting straight or just do your best.
I suspect you're a bit like myself in that you're a perfectionist and worry that you might not be getting things exactly textbook?
All the Best
