@Xena's Mum
Is there anyone who can ask to help lighten your load? You may also benefit from consulting your GP.

I believe that because we seem to have to expend extra effort focusing on all our daily tasks and responsibilities (and worrying about them) that in itself is tiring. Equally insomnia can also be an issue as it is difficult to switch off and sleep if ones brain is whirring away.

Thanks Tom for the support but when I call my doctors they know my voice as if it isn't me calling about me I have the girls to call about too. The worry/stress aspect is very true though.

I was wondering I am 47 and started going through the menopause at 40 if this could impact in any way?
But it is only the last 2 years that my husband and I have noticed a drastic change.

Anyone else?

I can understand your reluctance to bother your GP again However it's his/her job and they should have a far broader knowledge of all things medical/physiological.

Will leave to other ladies to respond re the menopause and will play my 'I'm a man how would I know!' card 8-)

I'm having issues of sleeping, going on years now. Went to specialist and they prescribed me all kinds of meds after I finally reached out for help, my biggest fear actually cuz they don't work and my short term memory is kinda getting messed; and my specialist only can see me once few month or so it's been and if only for 15 20 min sesh, not enough to get my thoughts out or explain correctly what's going in with me and my body. So I just go with the flow...

The other day I reached the 5 am mark and finally went to bed and woke up at 10 other times I wake up much later and seem to go to bed at 3 or 4 and sleep all day or at least to 2 pm or 3. So I'm all over the place , although there is times i do suceed in a pattern but i cant matain it.same thing it's hard for me to get out of bed; my dog pushes me to wake up :/ I don't like that feeling. During me sleeping I think I grind my teeth.

Anyhow I got a hold of a new gp I'm gonna go see next week. Please lord lol make him kinda understand what dyspraxia is, cuz I'm literally scared going to specialists around this area cuz they don't know, and I'm slowly going to shut down and not reach out anymore.
