One of the observations that numerous people have made of me is that I seem to like making deep conversation about matters such as philosophy, science, psychology, religion etc. This is something I've noticed myself, most if not all of the time I really don't feel like I have the time for small talk, I barely connect with it and tend to show aversion to it. I want to get to the deep end as soon as possible, and gravitate towards those who are either open to it or want it themselves. Is this a tendency anyone else has noticed in themselves?

Hi and welcome

It's an interesting question. Are we more disposed to shunning gossip and title tattle? I sometimes wonder if intelligent conversation still happens, though I can be light hearted and zany too.

I find that If I get a business call I'm not that disposed to the how are you today preamble, in fact I'm almost suspicious of it

Hope you find the forum useful and supportive.
