Edinburgh social group ??

Post by GlassOnion »

Would be great to meet up with a few other people who can identify with some of the problems associated with dyspraxia. I m not sure if opportunities like that might be a bit thin on the ground where I live tho ? ? Would be good just to meet some like-minded people on the same sort of wavelength :)

We should definitely try and organise something, I think it would benefit us so much. Has anyone heard of anything at all in the area that has already been organised? I have done a bit of research but can't seem to find anything

I love the Scots, but I unfortunately live near London, so I would not be able to attend. It would be pretty cool to arrange a London meet-up at some point though.

Feel free to post in the thread I created about swapping Skype and Facebook if anybody wants to chat. I used to have lots of Dyspraxic friends on the teen version of this forum, but it died and we slowly lost contact - I am keen to meet some new Dyspraxics. :)

It may be worth creating a new "Do you live in the London area? Please get in touch" thread of your own and see who responds. Also worth googling Dyspraxia + (area) to see if you get any hits. You can also search this forum and try politely pMing people.

Have you seen http://www.dyspraxicadults.org.uk/forum ... 401#p31401

I considered that, but it feels as though it would probably saturate it. I'll maybe sort that out soon though. :3

I'd love it but I'm guessing it would be a hell of a commute from Philadelphia
