Hello, welcome to the forum.
I think that many of us here could sympathise with you, I myself am very socially
(if not awkrard) then shy. Difficulties I have with crowds and noise puts me off socialising. It's very difficult to make friends when you don't go out and as a result I have very few friends, the nearest of them actualy being in Malta. So it's a bit long distance!
It is a loney existence, and it can get depressing at times and I can relate to the desire to simply have a friend to see in real life.
However, a note of caution. You are in a very vulernable position here. Your desire to make a friend, almost any friend from anywhere risks you being taken advantage of, exploited or abused. There's a lot of nasty people lurking around the internet looking for vulnerable people to prey on.
The age difference between you and me for example would already raise awkward questions immediately, you being just 18, I'm into my 30s. Many of us here are well into adulthood. And the practicalities of making a "real" friend from here are ultimately quite slim.
I'm sure you'll be very welcome here, we'll all be happy to answer any questions you might have on the forum, maybe you could even find a Facebook friend here but perhaps you'd be better seeking further friendship at a dyspraxic teens website.
http://www.dyspraxicteens.org.uk/forum/ where there's more chance of finding people of your own generation with more in common aside from the dyspraxia.
