How do I deal with flatmates and keep on their good side?
There is a place a like in town that I want to rent which I thought I was sharing with 1 man but it is actually a 3/4 bedroom and 3/4 bathroom apartment.
I am 24 and like my own independence, am adventurous and want to go to many different places. I have a minor disability.
I want to invite a man over at least most nights if not every night is possible to have sex.
I want to just invite them in, bring them up to my room and have sex.
I want to keep someone for more than a night and a night over for sex and fun.
If a guy or someone stays one or 2 nights or a week, he will be in the kitchen and living room as well as my bedroom.
I don't want anybody to touch my food etc.
I don't want anybody just walking in my room.
I don't want my family knowing about what I get up to or my flatmates telling my family what I get up to.
I want to come and go as I please.
I want to be able to make myself a meal in the kitchen.
I want to make friends in the flat while them minding their own business about my person life.
I have never met my flatmates and have already payed something towards the deposit and I like many things about the place itself. I probably won't be able to see my flatmates until I move in.
I also want my family's support for them to mind their own business about what I am doing there.
What should I do?
Thanks for listening.

While I'm not exactly qualified to answer this since I live at home myself at 36 I say this very much depends on the flatmates you find and how protective of you they are.
In my opinion as a 'conserative' gentleman if placing myself in position of a flatmate , if a lady or gentleman broght home a partner `I'd be concerned about who he was in terms of you as a housemate and security in general but maybe i'm paranoid
Until you meet them and have learned to live with them as housemates it could be a bit 'big brother' You have to take the rough wit the smooth!
All the best

Having lived with housemates for several years, bringing people back has never been an issue. I wouldn't worry about it.
