Re: tidying and getting stressed about it

I'm always leave jobs half done (I like to TRY to help my boyfriend out at his flat when I stay over) and he has to ask me if I've forgotten anything, a sort of gentle reminder, at which point I have to apologise and go back to whatever it was I was doing before my mind wandered :S It's no big deal,...

Re: dyspraxic people insecure and too needy or is it just me

Hi all :) I was once introduced to someone as; 'Amy is also known as the dozey one, but you always know where you stand with her' Sums me up to a tee basically! :D Yeah I am the first to admit, I can be a little 'lights are on, but no one is home' at times, absent minded, forgetful, in a world of my...

Re: Anger Management

I am sure this sounds ridiculous but I lose my patience with inanimate objects, a lot :S Coat hangers are the worst without a doubt, when clothes fall off?? My electric toothbrush never stands up in the bathroom cupboard and when I lay it down it rolls out and on the floor... Generally when an objec...

Re: WAIS psychology test vs OT assessment

Hi Hoppingmouse, hope you are well :) I went to my GP around this time last year when I was living in Portsmouth, as was referred to an OT. I had an initial assessment over the phone and was waiting a call back to arrange another, face to face, I believe.... In the mean time, my job and relationship...

Re: Dyspraxia in retail / a shoe shop

Hiya Wayward, hope this message finds you well :) I too am in retail, working for a well known supermarket chain and I have done for 7 years now, a huge achievement for me, as I had previously bounced from one job to the next since I was 16... holding down a job was hard. I s'pose I have just learnt...
