Re: Dyspraxia Awareness Week
I presume it is The Dyspraxia Foundation that decided this was to be Awareness Week, presumably to capitalise on the start of a new series of Dr Who on BBC 1 TV at 7 pm this evening in the UK, Sunday 7th October 2018. The inclusion of a Character with Dyspraxia, may have new folk, seeking information.

That is an excellent idea Jim 1983 I hope it reaches a wider readership than hear, perhaps via Pete Guest's new Dyspraxia and Life magazine, meanwhile, thank you for posting.

Re: Can I be a scaffolder if I have dyspraxia?
Some with DCD would be able to do it, others not.
I would have given it a go if it was the most suitable job available to me, but I was fifty before I suspected that I had DCD.

This looks dodgy, I have reported post and suggest that you ignore the link.
I presume a longstanding member has had email address hacked, I cannot imagine such a person who posts being allowed to join our Forum.

Re: Employee of the Month.
It is grim BUT if it pays a wage it is better than not working. I was fortunate that I was never required to clean toilets as part of a job, but rather than be unemployed I certainly would have done. Coping with unreasonable bosses and colleagues that don't understand DCD/dyspraxia are added stresse...
