Re: Hi All, new member, finding out about stuff
Hi, I'm doing A-levels at the moment so not quite post grad. I've always found structuring essays really hard so I can't image ill be doing a masters in law!

Re: Good Hobbies/Activities for dyspraxics
I would like to second archery, I was in a club until a year ago, great fun and little cost after the cost of a bow but clubs normally have spares. My favourite sport is shooting, for the same reasons as archery, no communication is required there's no hand eye coordination anpart from lining the si...

Re: You know you're dyspraxic when
At rugby training, when everyone else is sidestepping flagpoles you are face planting into the mud, resulting in hysterical laughter from the rest of the team!

Re: Holiday Destinations
I go to scotland a lot, mainly due to my dad living on the isle of skye. But for other destinations Brussels, Normandy and Ypres are my favourite places on mainland europe.
Re: Reading
Once I've had the patience to read half the book I normally can't stop, I'm obsessive. But if I've only read 2-3 chapters or I've forgotten I'm reading a book or I've lost it I won't read it. I do tend to read series a lot though. Especially sharpe and biggles, some of the greatest books I've read!

Re: Clothing that you hate
I can't stand shirts that are new out the packet, anything with 'hard' labels and wooly jumpers that are particularly scratching. Oh and anything too clingy or too loose, I don't throw clothes away I just stretch them to a perfect size!

Left and Right
It's 2 weeks until I'm 17 and I've been looking forward to driving my whole life, my mum is a police advanced driver. However as the day draws nearer that I can drive a car, I just keep getting nervous. My biggest worry is left and right apparently putting a dot on the steering wheel helps but does ...

Re: A-Level Maths
My family, friends and teachers are all trying to help, it just seems like trying to plug gaps in a colander! However my teacher assures me I will get I eventually, but I think that could be a while. He's dyslexic and got a degree in maths, so hopefully he's telling me truth! I'm going to see it thr...

Re: You know you're dyspraxic when
You know you're dyspraxic when…you face plant up a flight of stairs, struggle to your feet walk into a post support the roof, trip on your friend mum and spill everyone's tea on the coffee table by walking into it!
And then having to explain to your best friend of 4 years what dyspraxia is!

A-Level Maths
I've just started A-level maths, and well it's been uphill for the last 3 weeks, I got a U on my first test and none of the numbers make sense to me. I somehow got an A at GCSE by learning all the formulas by wrote, but you can't do that at A-Level since the questions are more dynamic. Does anyone h...

Marksmanship
I was just wondering if anyone else does target rifle shooting, because I'm quite a good shot and the team vice captain but I struggle to get the consistency holding the rifle and keeping the position as I'm not overly aware of the position of my limbs. So in short, does anyone have anything that ca...
