Re: By eck! A decent news clip on Dyspraxia.
It was a fantastic video, more needs to be done to support dyspraxia, I think the Dyspraxia Foundation should be in the video !!!

Re: Is anyone going to the Dyspraxia Conference on 15th Nove
It is too costly, stressful. I might be pessimistic but there is a strong bias towards professionals.

Re: psychometric tests - reasonable adjustments
Hello Tom fod,
I have done tests before, before my diagnosis of dyspraxia, I could not access the extra time, because there was no mention on my diagnosis.
Regards,
Aladdin

psychometric tests - reasonable adjustments
I am a graduate, applying for a data analysts role. I asked for reasonable adjustments. I have to do the tests online at home, including verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning (both strengths) & diagrammatic reasoning ( a weakness too slow) . I asked for adjustments, they said what does your diag...

maybe Homer Simpson, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homer_Simpson Homer embodies several American working class stereotypes: he is crude, overweight, incompetent, clumsy, lazy, a heavy drinker, and ignorant; however, he is essentially a decent man and fiercely devoted to his family. Despite the suburb...

switching from tasks - a sign of distraction
I have a problem, sometimes, I would do a task, then I read an email but I would not absorb the information easily or misinterpret the information ? I do not read or absorb all the words. Is it caused by anxiety, stress or dyspraxia ?
I think it is a sign of distraction.

Re: Can dyspraxic people drive manual cars
I passed my driving test, after 10 attempts in a manual car, without a full understanding of dyspraxia.
I am not a great driver, I do not like new roads, but dyspraxics can drive manual cars.

Re: delivering yellow pages
I finished the deliveries (1000+ yellow pages), Thursday 1:30pm.
In the evening, I visited B & Q, I had to transport 15 heavy sacks, 10 sacks were very heavy.
By the end of Thursday, I was knackered. Thanks for the compliment.

delivering yellow pages
I delivered the yellow pages. I had to transport over 1000 yellow pages to my car. During 4 days, I delivered over 1000 yellow pages in my postcode area. I felt very tired, especially yesterday due to the hot weather. Is it normal for this job to make a dyspraxic feel exhausted, or can it make some ...

Dyspraxia increases the likelihood of ASD, aspergers
http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/9.12/aqtest.html 2 I prefer to do things the same way over and over again. 5 I often notice small sounds when others do not. 10 In a social group, I can easily keep track of several different people's conversations. 25 It does not upset me if my daily routine is d...

Re: Dyspraxia vs. Aspergers
I think it is very unlikely a person is diagnosed with dyspraxia ansd classic asperger syndrome as an adult ubless both conditions cause problems which is very unlikely.
If dyspraxia is the main condition, the ASD condition is aspergers traits or no ASD.
