Re: Hair care

Yep, I do. TO make matters worse, I've got quite a lot of thin, very curly hairs. I've never felt good about my hair and tend to avoid it...

Re: interdental brushes and other medical related moans

I recommend an Air Flosser/Water pik quite a lot. Just started using one, and it's pretty fantastic. :) I wish I'd got one years ago...my teeth are pretty rubbish. It does annoy me when dentists would be like "You need to floss!" and I'd try to explain I find it difficult, likely more dama...

Re: How are you at cooking?

It depends on how I'm feeling and how good the recipe is. I need to have all the right equipment too, I'm not very good at 'making do' in that respect. I find American pancakes best for flipping, as you only need a spatula. Plus, they can be really yummy with lemon and sultanas in as you fry. Nom no...

Well, I can certainly identify with much of what you said. I stumbled around for most of my life, jumping from one job to another in a very incoherent fashion. the best job I ever had was my own business which thrived for about fifteen years and then went south, in large part because I didn't chang...

Re: No job at 26, feel like a failure and that the lack of support I've had for dyspraxia is to blame.

Thanks for the advice. I guess it's just hard, on paper, to do anything. I got a job a few years ago, working nights full time at a Welcome Break service station, which would have been difficult to get to and from anyway (I would've had to walk 4 miles home every night, 5 times a week). They also ha...

No job at 26, feel like a failure and that the lack of support I've had for dyspraxia is partially to blame.

Hi there, I'm at a loss really. I did quite well at college, got my A-Levels (with the use of a laptop as handwriting is a no-no for me) and went to uni. Dropped out because of the self-care issues and depression I had relating to it. I left, and wasn't able to get contribution based benefits (obvio...

Re: Dyspraxia vs. Aspergers

I was diagnosed with Asperger's when I was 14, although I agreed somewhat at the time, I quickly realised I wasn't really what most people, or psychologists, would call Asperger's - I only really fitted the social awkwardness, which I felt arouse from social anxiety (which itself was brought on by y...
