In a mental health setting-yes, but never for dyspraxia or any other form of neurodivergence . They weren't much help.

I dislike chopping and peeling. Years ago when I was a psychiatric inpatient I was put on a cookery group. I got chucked off for supposedly being bolshy. The reason I was taking ages to peel potatoes and not doing a good job of it.It was a task I really struggled with. OT staff may be more clued up ...

Re daily life skills: How are you at cooking? I’m very much a chuck it all in one frying pan/wok/casserole dish/saucepan merchant. Too many instructions and timings and I can get thrown. Another big problem organising myself to prepare a menu plan and buy the ingredients.
