i has the stage 1 screening for this on wednesday. at the end of it the guy gave me a blue-grey coloured overlay to try out. he said if i want to go onto stage 2 of the screening for coloured lenses, then let him know and he'll refer me to the irlen north west centre. the cost of the assessment and ...

i'd say science based degrees (particularly stuff like medicine and engineering - both of which seem to involve a lot of work), and also apparently teaching.

I passed my degree.

I got my results today. Very relieved. I passed everything, and got a first!

(granted i only just scraped it. if i had got any more than 0.01% lower it wouldnt have been a first, but idont really care babout that lol)

:D just thought i';d share my excitement :D

yeah. i only turned two things down. speech to text software ( i have a fast typing speed ), and a notetaker ( don't want one of those ).

The screening i remember is for irlen syndrome.

I was somewhere near manchester. It was an alright weekend here, though suddenly very windy on sunday afternoon. Had a hard time attempting to kayak back, up against the wind!
