Re: Converse/Tying Shoe Laces

I thought that was just me!

And as for actually tying my laces, unless I'm sitting down I'll more than not loose my balance!

Re: Felt such a prat

I think this is something most people here can relate to. Was out with friends recently and knelt down to tie my shoe lace loosing my balance in the process.

The fact that they were watching and then showed concern made me feel 10 times worse!

Argh!

Hi guys,

Does anyone else ever have days where your head feels overloaded that all you want to do is either scream or cry or both but there isn't necessarily a reason?

Today is one of those days!

Re: I just did a Dyspraxia quiz.

Just completed the quiz on my way to work and I scored "probable"...

I was half expecting "at risk" being the result given to everyone!

Converse/Tying Shoe Laces

I'm a fan of Converse high tops but does anyone find putting them on and keeping the laces tied particularly difficult?

Re: Handle the fork

I can relate. How I hold cutlery or a pen has raised a few eyebrows over the years. I didn't really become aware of it though until a former work colleague made fun of how I ate at a work Christmas party.

Re: Not very dyspraxic talents

I'm not bad at drawing and now find it a good way to switch off. Unfortunately the school I went to didn't think art was important enough to offer as a subject. They were more interested in sport, especially Irish sports GAA.

Re: Hello from Dublin

Hi Susan, I don't *think* it's Aspergers, a close friends son has aspergers, while the other has recently been diagnosed with ADHD. Both were tested for dyspraxia and she was of my friends who suggested it as a possibility to me. Three of my cousins kids also have dyspraxia and she recently admitted ...

Hello from Dublin

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to read this post. It's kind of a bit of a big step for me to do. Almost as big as coming out to my parents almost 20 years ago. My name is Justin, I'm 43 and I think I might have dsypraxia. And it seems that some of those closest to me think the same. I have ...
