I find it overwhelming, there’s so much going on and sometimes in a split second i’ll Start thinking about dinner or the shopping by which point for me I’ve completely lost interest in what I was doing. I put it down to short concentration spand and that I can lose interest in things quickly

I worked in hospitality and ran my own pub so completely understand how difficult it can be to start small talk. I normally ask people how they are, move onto the weather and then the local area. I would say go for it and be honest and open with all employers.

All interviews are great practice even if your not successful, but all employers should be accommodating as much as possible. I would be very surprised if a supermarket wasn’t supportive :)
