Re: What are you working on?
Your job sounds really interesting, it's great you have found something you enjoy! I would quite like to learn some coding, I do a little bit on my course but still a bit clueless! Yeah spelling isn't really my issue, I have a problem with comprehension which is really frustrating when trying to do ...

I have very small hands and still can't type on my phone. I have always had this issue and never understood what I was doing wrong until now. Struggle to swipe on it as well and always dropping it!

Re: Advice for a newbie
Thanks for the advice that is very useful. Being diagnosed at 27 has meant I haven't really limited myself too much I more just understand why I struggle with things so much now, and like you said I feel less stupid. It's just quite strange to adjust to it but it does feel quite positive as I unders...

Re: I prefer walk in lonely streets and woods.
I think the anxiety loop can be quite hard to break, being anxious is anxiety inducing in itself! CBT is quite useful for that. It really helped me. The irrational anger is a bit of an issue though, I am nice and polite to others but the anger will ruin my mood.

Re: What are you working on?
Yeah brain and pharmacology are fascinating, my first degree was in psychology so this is much more scientific than what I am used to! I am really enjoying it though although feeling the pressure a bit at the moment. Computer science is really interesting too though and there are probably far more j...

Re: Is Anyone Sensitive To Noise or Odors?
I do struggle with odors, but noise and light are worse. I work on an intensive care unit and I feel I get sensory overload all the time especially the alarms, but the bright lights and odors are really bad too. I find I get quite agitated by it all.

I have this issue too. Have got better with time but I live in a busy city centre and I get really overwhelmed when surrounded by people and really irrationally angry at everyone!

Re: What are you working on?
Hey! That sounds like a really interesting project best of luck with it! I will look at the Web page when I'm off night shift! I am currently doing my masters degree so my entire life is pretty much dedicated to that. I am currently writing about cranial nerve involvement in emotion recognition in a...

Advice for a newbie
I am new to this website, and my dyspraxia and dyslexia diagnoses are less than a week old! Any advice anyone can give about adjusting to it all would be greatly appreciated. I am not really sure what to do now. I can identify so many things in my life that can be explained by dyspraxia which is a c...

Hello! Newly diagnosed dyspraxia
Hello all, I am 27 years old from Leeds in England. I only got diagnosed as dyspraxic last Tuesday so this is very new information for me. I do keep having 'a-ha' moments pretty regularly now and so many of my difficulties make perfect sense. Although it all makes more sense, I also just have no ide...
