Re: Employee of the Month.

They changed my job role. I am supposed to clean up the smoking shelter, and now they're expecting me to clean people's uniforms, if the other cleaner hasn't got the time.

Re: Employee of the Month.

The roof collapsed at work. They've changed my job title, I'm now down as a factory cleaner, and not as an industrial cleaner. I have to do my work and the other cleaner's, because she's useless, doesn't turn in, always goes home while claiming to be "sick" I get paid less than others, who stand aro...

Re: Employee of the Month.

The company doesn't care. Just today, we've had one person pass out due to the heat, one person nearly passing out. There's no health and safety, well done correctly, the glass line exploded, and one person was cut. Half of the people in the work are lazy and get paid more than me. The company is so...

Employee of the Month.

I got employee of the month for July, but only because I was rushing around, doing two jobs at once, giving a handful of work to do while my job list gets bigger and bigger. It's a very unorganised company. Lack of communication. Lack of staff. Work overload, small building. The company hasn't got t...

Re: Asking for reasonable adjustments at job interviews

I just don't tell anyone at interviews about my Dyspraxia, the companies that I have been usually fail me at the interview, which is why I stopped telling them. Most of my jobs I have lost because I got no training, and couldn't manage the workload, and some of them would ignore or wouldn't listen t...

Re: Better writer than speaker

I sometimes stutter when I'm trying to say something, or even on the phone, I know what I'm trying to say up in my head, but it doesn't come out right. I get frustrated when people interrupt me because I need to start from what I was saying, right from the beginning I can write fantastically, my spe...

Re: does anyone here have sleep issues?

I suffer from night terrors and hallucinations, so I do have sleep issues.

Re: Fatique...

I don't sleep, due to my night terrors, and then have to do an eight-hour shift, where I'm walking around nonstop, and also doing the jobs for another two to three people because they're lazy. I'm actually past caring now.

Re: Hello!

Hi and welcome. I'm glad that I was diagnosed at a really early age and not as late as some people.

Unoragnised

I never worked for a company that is so unorganised. They’ve recently just taken one of their biggest contracts that the company has ever had, but what they failed to do. Is that they failed to calculate how much the machines can handle, which it turns out that they can’t. For the last week, every d...

Re: New job

I've had these boots a long time, they've never been a problem for me, it's the amount of walking I've got to do, with sometimes hitting nearly 30,000 steps a day.

Re: New job

Been at work two weeks now, signed my contract on the first day, was allowed to pick my shifts, i get free bottled water, all different kinds which has fallen off the production line, work at my own pace, do what I want, only thing is that I'm walking around for eight hours in boots, legs ache, feet...

Start a new job, actually employed by the company, no zero hour contract, no agency, full time, close to home again

Re: Pedometer watch

Using the phone will be the best way. As it's in your pocket, so there no chance of the steps increasing due to any arms swinging. You can also measure your heart rate, add what you've eaten that day for the calorie intake, how many healthy steps you've done.
