Re: Discord voice chat channel for dyspraxics to practise conversational skills

I'd like to come too. Not too used to stuff like discord, but it could come in handy.

Re: No one finds a romantic connection with me

I feel for you all fellas. I'm 26. The only "relationship" I had was 6 years ago, and was extremely abusive and toxic. One year ago, I also had to face the fact that the one girl I was having a crush on wasn't in love with me (or not anymore) and was a sick person. Since then, knowing tha...

Been alone for quite long

Hi. It's been almost 2 month since I did talked about myself, but considering my saying went unheard, I wasn't even sure if I could go on. Well, I got 26 two weeks ago. Which basically means that I have been 6 years alone, if I consider the trash, unealthy and distant thing I had with a sick person ...

Re: Perseverate on Negative Thoughts?

I have a tendency to ruminate over negative thoughts, even thinking of negative situations that doesn't happens. And yes, it's so natural to me to be this way that I have to fight it actively. I'm not sure if it's an effect of our different neuroactivity, or if it is a result of our social lives as ...

Re: Touch screen phones

The digital keyboard is terrible for me, but it's still better than the ol' "press 4 times the number 7 to get an /s/" (or maybe another number, can't remember) type of keyboards which were HELL.

Re: How are you at cooking?

I'm trash at cooking. When I want to eat "healthy" food, all I do is slicing some cucumber and putting some feta on it, point. I guess I could be good at it if I tried to. But I don't care that much. However, speaking of food : I tend to have an habit of binge-eating, which makes me cook e...

Re: Talking to people in my head

I have this, and it's been a long time since I do. Real blight, can make you lose yourself for minutes. Can make you look ridiculous if someone sees/hears you. I have to fight it off when I walk in the street. Also, speaking of control : sometimes, when I'm amongst people I know yet let the control ...

Re: Where are we all !?

Born in the Paris suburbs, but lived most of my life in a northwest part of France called Brittanny.

I also lived in Aberystwyth, Wales, for almost a year. Good fun, beautiful place and country.

Re: Can dyspraxic people drive manual cars

I've managed to have my driving licence for manuals, but it wasn't easy, took me almost 2 years (well, I couldn't always be in my hometown, so there's that). I'm not the best driver, and I can be pretty awkward, but hey, I can do it. My mum on the other hand, whom I strongly suspect of dyspraxia (an...

Re: Hypersensitivity To Temperature

Interesting. I always thought myself to be some kind of mutant considering I can endure much harder cold than anyone around (I can be lightly weared with only a short and a shirt during small rain and feel better than my friends while they're wearing heavy stuff and coats), but I also feel the heat ...

Re: Boredom and anger

Hello there. It's been a while since I wanted to comeback in here, but I didn't because all I have to say is basically the same stuff. But now I have new exciting stuff to say, so let's go ! : I still feel lost, especially within both my job, and my "outlet" (is that the right word ?) whic...

Re: Discord voice chat channel for dyspraxics to practise conversational skills

I am not that much of a "discord-type-guy", but that would be pretty nice if you ask me. I might very well join if you do it, I have never met/speaked to "a fellow" and always felt alone with no relatable one.

Re: Boredom and anger

VD can also stand for Veneareal Disease (aka STDs which is oddly amusing perhaps). That said it's a bit uncharitable. Yeah they should get a room and it can feel difficult to be happy for them sometimes but wouldn't we all like the same for ourselves? Haha, unwilling trust me. But no, I wouldn't, e...
