Re: Vestibular System
and a last update from me. I was at the Rheumatology clinic a month ago and I´ve just gotten the report. I have spinal degeneration lumbar + thoracic (they didn´t x-ray my cervical, but from my symptoms I suspect there is degeneration there as well). From my research this is what is pulling me off b...

Re: Dealing with energy levels and tiredness
yes but it might not be down to dyspraxia. There are a ton of things that can cause this. Physical exertion wipes me out and causes serious joint and muscle pain on top, I suspect this is my Hashimoto´s, but we suspect something else is going on. There are a lot of other autoimmune diseases which al...

Re: Touch screen phones
To be honest I still have a Blackberry because I like my little keyboard! I'm fine on a touch screen like an ipad (although I prefer a lap top with a proper keyboard) but on an i-phone/smartphone it is too small and I type every word wrong and this annoys me! Bring back manual typewriters, that's w...

Re: Is Anyone Sensitive To Noise or Odors?
Can´t stand loud noises or perfume. Noise-canceling headphones are a godsend for me.

Re: Keyboard on smartphone
I use swype on my smartphones. It allows me to be far less accurate. Alternatively you can get the new Blackberry KeyOne for 300€ now with physical keyboard (I still love my Blackberrys)

Re: Vestibular System
I thought I should update this post. I went back for the tests and was told my right side system was 57% worse than my left, but that it is considered normal up to 80-90%. Dr said everything is fine with my inner ear. After the tests, I still failed the stepping test. He said it is likely a physical...

Re: Connecting
I do find I'm not really into small talk, gossip or celeb-based tittle tattle. Bane of my life. I hate small talk. The other day someone from work was asking how my Christmas break was etc and what I got up to etc. What he really wanted to ask me is if I knew something about a particular system. (w...

Re: Tippy Toe Walking?
I looked it up on youtube just to see why firemonkey thought he would lose his balance. Found a video of a woman who I think was doing it on purpose, but this isn´t really toe walking. Whilst looking I did come across this video which might have some tips (I´m at work so couldn´t have sound on): htt...

Re: Touch screen phones
I sometimes have difficulty keeping it in my hands, but swiping and gestures are generally not a problem, which is a good job as I have the iPhone X and it´s all gestures and swipes now!

Re: Tippy Toe Walking?
I used to do it as a kid up until about the age of 12 when people started taking the **** out of me at school. After that, I tried to learn not to do it, but even today my gait/stance is not really 100%

If you´re writing a long post, compose it in Notepad or another text editor, then you can copy/paste into the forum and avoid any timeout problems.
