Re: dyspraxia and sensitivity to light when sleeping
I suffer with this too. It has to be complete darkness and no sound for me to properly fall asleep. I struggle even if someone is watching tv in the living room with both the living room door shut and my bedroom shut because i can hear the TV but the TV is definitely not that loud and probably would...

Re: bad day at work feel like crying:(
Take your time and do not rush, do not stress, take a deep breathe and go at your own pace. Could you maybe take some diapers home and practice on a doll? Everything will be okay. I cant really go into detail about where i work but i have the same problem with helping people put on their clothes and...

Re: upbringing to blame for way i am now?
I definetly think the reason i am like i am is because mum and dad were so protective over me. I wasnt allowed to do certain things and my parents made sure i was safe at all times. I feel like they had a tight grip of me and still do even though im an adult living away from home. My dad put me in a...

Terrified of neighbour who is making me paranoid
I live in a block of flats and the neighbour im talking about is opposite my flat with his window facing my flat. He is constantly at the window, standing staring when im in the kitchen. At first i thought it was just a little kid messing around but after side glancing a few times ive seen he is an ...

Re: Getting angry so easily
I don't have any advice really but I feel the same, I have such a short temper and get upset so easily over comments. I usually take a deep breathe, count to 10, walk away and sit and have a cup of tea somewhere then talk about how I feel. I do things to destress me by colouring in and listening to ...

Had physiotherapy yesterday, was so embrassed
I had physiotherapy yesterday and I was so anxious which probably didn't make it easier. My physio kept asking me to do things but the words just sounded like noise, (he was English speaking). I got myself so anxious and stressed that I started to panic. I didn't do anything he asked because I didn'...

6 year relationship with a man who doesn't understand dyspraxia
I am 25 and live with my partner of 6 years. Things were great to start off with, he was so supportive and loving. Now all he does is get frustrated with me, I can't seem to do anything right. He just starts fights over everything. I can't breathe without him commenting. Recently he made a hurtful c...

Re: Tying laces
I have shoe laces on my boots which I wear in winter which are already tied where I can just slip my foot in and they are tight enough. Other than that I stay way clear of laces and wear dolly shoes however my work shoes do have laces but they are already tied and I just slip my foot in.

25, new here with undiagnosed dyspraxia and struggling with life.
Hello I'm 25 and I have undiagnosed dyspraxia. My mum told me she knew I had it when I was little but didn't want a label out on me. She told me she didn't it to hold me back. I did very well at school with the support of my mum and she always told me I could do anything I wanted to do. I left home ...
