Re: Christmas jam

Inspired by the MeToo movement that started with Harvey Weinstein and a case of sexual assault against one of my friends. In terms of bands who inspire me, Radiohead and Muse.

Re: Friendship/relationship advice

It was totally reasonable to ask if she liked you, and I don't really think there's anything you could have done to change the outcome - sometimes girls/guys just aren't interested, or are perhaps turned off over time. Don't sweat it! Just be proud that you actually made a move - it took me a while ...

Re: Don't understand why girls are put off by me

As a 24 year old girl, I'd like to apologise for my gender. You may well be aware that a lot of girls can be quite shallow, the smallest things can put them off when really they haven't even given the person a proper chance. I'll give you the same advice I have given other male friends of mine... T...

Re: Video games aren't a bad thing

I love games, especially strategy ones. I am sure I would be less intelligent if video games hadn't inspired my interest in programming so acutely at an early age. I think that even violent games are really useful, and it has been proven that violence in media does not inspire violence in the real w...

Re: Another cup bites the dust...

I definitely spilled drinks a lot as a kid, but now I just have to make a conscious effort to observe my surroundings in detail before moving when I am around drinks. I still screw up sometimes though. I imagine you will be able to find big plastic mugs somewhere, but I confess I don't know where th...

Re: Asexuality and Dyspraxia

I don't think people with Asperger's are any more likely to be gay or lesbian, but I accept that this is a conclusion for which I have no evidence. Still, the other things you posit make sense.

I don't necessarily consider myself 100% asexual either. It's a sort of grey area.

Re: Room 101

So what would you put in room 101? I think for me it would be: 1. Netball - all that leaping and pivoting. It's just not for me. 2. People who say "but you had it a minute ago!" when I lose something. A lot can happen in a minute! 3. Wasps. They're pointless and they're a pain. I am so wi...

Re: Steam

I have always been a gamer, but don't currently use Steam, as my PC is broken. Discord or Skype is better anyways. Let me know if you want to add me on these, otherwise, feel free to add daniel_hodge204 on Steam, and I will accept when I can. I believe it is on mobile now, so I suppose I can use it.

Re: Living with Dyspraxia

I also suffer from ADHD and depression as well as Dyspraxia, and am being assessed for Asperger's in February too. Unfortunately, there's no easy, succinct advice I can give, but with depression, establishing stuff you can do, even if it's small, to get you more engaged is a positive move one can ma...
