Sense of reality
Hi, The more I have been exploring and trying to understand my dyspraxia, the more I have been questioning my sense of reality and my sanity. I think in a certain way and communicate in a certain way that other people dont get so how do I know that I am not insane? I dont feel emotions in the same w...

Re: Exercise
Yeah it's pretty rubbish eh! I think fatigue is probably the worst part of this for me as it makes everything just that bit more harder. No one understands as well why you are so tired and always out of breath. The one benefit I guess is I have always been relatively slim even before I did any exerc...

Re: Exercise
Hi Tim, Thanks for your message and that gives me some confidence that I can maybe go back to it as had given it up recently as was too difficult. I also went on a mountain leader training course which was a complete disaster. I got nervous so just kept on going the wrong way when navigating and had...

Exercise
Does anyone find that they are more exhausted than other people after exercise? Other people I know seem to be able to bounce back pretty quickly but I am floored for about 2 days after it despite have a decent fitness level. I used to hill walk a lot and would always sleep at about 6pm straight thr...

Re: talking and short term memory
Hi Morgan, I hope the Gabba supplements work for you. I dont suffer from a great deal of anxiety these days so could only imagine how much worse it would be if I did. I do find tho it is worse when I am put on the spot and have to recall some sort of fact or do some sort of mental maths. I have lear...

Re: talking and short term memory
I have problems if I have to think about what I say before I say it and it comes out all jumbled and mixed up. However if I just say things impulsively without thinking about it, I come across as far more articulate and intelligent. However what I say I can never back up with any evidence so for exa...

Re: Being clumsy
Haha yup falling up stairs lots of times too! After my meeting to assess for my dyspraxia last Wednesday I walked straight into a wall when I was saying good bye to the disability support guy! I guess that was enough evidence for him lol.

Dyspraxic Traits
Hi there, I have suffered problems my entire life and recently thought I might have ADHD. I went to the disability team at university and he thinks I may have educational dyspraxia and I have been referred to a psychologist. Reading everyones comments, there seems to be a wide variation of symptoms....

Re: Being clumsy
Does anyone else constantly fall down stairs? I used to think it was because I wore heels but no one else I know seems to do it. I once fell down 2 flights of stairs after going to the canteen for lunch. Despite being cut and bruised my lunch survived and I ate it once I cleaned myself up!
