Re: Not very dyspraxic talents

I can Crochet! Ok, it took me longer to learn it and I'm still pretty slow at it but I don't care because I did it  If you give me a book on how to learn something I can't. But YouTube is FANTASTIC for teaching. Arts and crafts, and musical instruments for EG. You can pause and repeat bits a...

Workplace needs assessment

Hi, does anyone have experience of a workplace needs assessment?

I've read some info on them but am nervous about having them come into my place of work. I have no idea what they'll look at, who they'll talk to or what happens after.

Is it worth it?

Re: What is your job?

Great question. Will be interesting to see more replies. Sigh, I'm always looking at jobs thinking 'I can't do that'. Or no way can I be a manager, for example. I'm a support worker in the mental health field. I'd like to go to university and study social science and social policy. Perhaps then work...

Hopefully I can get together a better system that works. any tips? All ...

Re: Eating Spaghetti

Hi all. I'm sitting here laughing after reading this thread. I promise I'm not laughing at anyone. I'm laughing as I know just how much mess I get into with spaghetti too. I can picture me trying all the different ways to eat spaghetti as I've tried it all. I'm the sort of person that laughs off dif...

Hi,

Hope you are well.
I was wondering how you got on when you enquired about getting a bus pass?

Re: Organising my life

Leanne, I know this isn't directly related to organisation, but you mentioned struggling to keep on top of housework. One of the best tips I was ever given is take shoes off the minute you get inside. You'll be amazed at how much cleaner the floors and carpets stay! :) I'm a Leanne too. And this ad...

Hi, This is really interesting reading you experiences as I also work in a caring role, supporting people with mental health issues. I've also worked with adults with learning disabilities and behavioural difficulties. I really understand the point about understanding others behaviour and behavioura...

Hello everyone.

Hi, I like it here. i don't feel alone with my difficulties / issues / quirks! Here. Scrolling through the forum I'm saying a lot of ooo me too! And Huh, I didn't realise that could be linked to dyspraxia. I'm 34, have a 3 year old, and I haven't been officially diagnosed with Dyspraxia- yet! My dau...
