Felt such a prat

Felt such a prat. Just had mental health check including BP and weight. Stepped on scales which are only a little off the ground and lost my balance. My granddaughter who was with me had to steady me before I could be weighed.

Re: ASD and dyspraxia- how much are they related?

He's a speech pathologist not an expert on dyspraxia , and therefore maybe less qualified to talk about the subject than any of us who experience this.

I failed Maths O level first time. I was ok at arithmetic and algebra, but abysmal at geometry. I could never get the hang of trigonometry.

Chopping and peeling

Cooking is one skill I struggle with. From organising myself to buy the ingredients(how the hell to people buy a week's worth of stuff for meals from scratch?) to preparing ie peeling and cutting veg , and following instructions and timings. Granddaughter is getting me to cook a cottage pie tomorrow...

The trouble with ovens

The trouble with ovens . I hope the burn on my arm isn't infected. I only noticed it when I went to bed Tuesday night. Re: The Just juicy chicken fiasco

Poor instructions are a real bugbear.

On a separate note does anyone else have difficulty tearing open those small sachets of ketchup etc you now tend to get in cafes rather than there being a bottle of ketchup etc on the table ?

The Just juicy chicken fiasco

Maybe it's just me being quite dyspraxic or maybe because in certain ways I'm thick. Went to do some "Just juicy" chicken in the bags my granddaughter gave me. Try opening one bag it splits. Try another bag it splits. Didn't try the third bag. Ending up pouring the mix into the cooking tray and roll...

Re: Fingers

thanks - I just hope the pdoc realises the biggest part of DCD/dyspraxia is the way thinking is affected rather than just that we can have difficulty with manual dexterity. I did mention my difficulty with organising and planning and he mentioned executive functioning. Whether he was connecting thi...
