What an unusual name for a cat. DJ... I like it!
Aww... Junior sounds totally adorable minus the drooling.

Re: Do I need to get assessed?
I think it really is down to you to decided that. What effect would have on you? Would it be a help or a hindrance? I would spent some time and summarise the good points and the bad points. I don't have all the symptoms either. I was extremely clumsy as a kid, knocking things over, falling over etc ...

Re: I hate public transport
But I get on trains like clock work and i never have a problem. But i do find it a bit too loud when the two trains are overlapping each other. Does anyone find bus and train timetables hard to read sometimes? I'm the same. I find timetables very confusing. I always have myself print off a simple v...

Re: 'walking straight'
I don't have trouble walking in a straight line now but when I was younger, I found it quite tricky. Even now though, I find I do have trouble walking in shopping malls with crowds, I can easily bump into people.

Re: sleep problems associated with dyspraxia
I think worrying about stuff is pretty natural part of life if it's serious stuff. But stuff like have i left the photcopier or my computer on at work doesn't worry me in the slightlest. (As soon as i get home I don't have a damn about work) Oh no, I only worry about serious stuff such as work and ...

Re: Never more than two months
I've never had a job but I'm hoping when I am fully qualified and all that, hopefully I can find a job that I will be able to stick to and not get fire within 24 hours.

Re: Mental Blocks
I get mental blocks all the time and my memory is terrible so exams were a bit of a nightmare for me! I used to try and remember important words by rhyming them with words I could remember. :) I hate taking exams, every exam it was like my brain was pressing the delete button on purpose. That's why...

Re: Dyspraxia and self esteem
I'm going to see a counsellor in September to talk about a variety of things but I think it will really help me to talk to someone who is trained in to dealing with people's problems and I cannot not see how Dyspraxia would effect that. I plan to talk about my Dyspraxia but it's not going to be the ...

Re: Friends
I have a few close friends who are very precious to me and I keep in contact with but often, it's just me on my own and doing my own thing which is great most of the time as I am usually swamped in work anyway but now, in summer, it's not that good and it does get lonely.

Re: 3D movies
I've never seen a movie in 3D but I have tried on the television and other things when the paper gives out those free crappy 3D glasses which never seem to work on me. I did go see a short feature at the National Sealife Centre in 4D though which was just awesome! :D It really jumped out the screen,...

Re: I hate public transport
I hate public transport. It's not the transport what bothers me, it is the people. I hate being surrounded. I hate buses, I cannot go on one by myself. I have a phobia of going on buses. When I was young, my Dad got off the bus and I was right behind him and was about to get off when the doors shut ...
