Re: Animal based jobs
AlleyCat- that's awful that you had to work with awful adults! I'm so sorry. It's sometimes difficult to find a positive work environment. It has taken me awhile to find a place where people not only accept me as I am, but embrace what I bring to the work setting. People can be so cruel. I have ...

Re: My coping strategies - what are yours?
Great ideas! :) I have a zipper pouch wallet that has a key ring on it, and is big enough to hold my cell phone. I hang it on the hook when I enter the house. If I lose it, I just have to call my cell phone to find my keys and wallet too! I am a nurse and I have a "nurse utility apron" otherwise ...

Re: ‘The Death of Dyspraxia’
Great article! Thank you so much. Some friends recommended a website that provides brain training and tracks your progress and gives increasingly more difficult levels to the games. I am not going to spam the name of it. I'm sure you could find it with some searching. In any case it has helped me to ...

Hi foundit Welcome to our little group I am sure if you read some of our posts that you will be able to see that we all have are little traits and are different ways of coping with situations. The way you say you and your daughter hold a pen is lack of a pincer grip which will affect the pencil ...

There is a name for it!
Hi, I just stumbled upon the term dyspraxia. I work as a nurse and as I was reading the definition I found myself crossing off many of those items as they applied to me! I wanted to come and chat and learn from others. I am a middle aged adult living in the U.S. I am considered intelligent but I ...
