Some good news and some fun things!
Well this week has been on the whole a good week for me. I passed my theory test Monday, something I thought I'd never accomplish. I literally jumped for joy when I was given my result paper, then reread it to make sure it was actually my name on it!! Now for the practical... :( Onto something a lit...

Re: Is there any way back?
Well thank you! There is indeed no greater praise than being told you're great parent. I'm certainly far from perfect that's for sure. I think most people worry about whether they'll be a good parent - I remember being pregnant with my first and worrying whether he/she would like me and vice versa!!...

Re: Is there any way back?
Well I had planned to never have children - I didn't see any need and for years I did not want children. I got married when I was 29, then after a few life events I kinda decided I couldn't go through life never having had children. Long story short I now have two lovely boys. The eldest will be sta...

Re: driving lesson trouble!!!!!!
Omg I completely relate to this. I'm just leaning to drive now in my 30s and it is taking FOREVER! I'm not a stupid person but for some reason it is like I have the brain of a goldfish when it comes to driving! In many areas of my life I am accomplished, and can multi-task and have a good memory for...

Re: Is there any way back?
Ha you do make me laugh! Nice change! If I may though, I'd like to give you some of my thoughts: I believe you should concentrate and focus on directing your considerable mental energy into something tangible. Let go of the bitterness and hurt from the past. It's happened, for whatever reason. I sti...

Re: Is there any way back?
Thanks for your reply, and I don't think you're particularly miserable, you just need to review things. Dyspraxia is not who you are, it's something you have that makes you live life differently to most others. It doesn't have to be all doom n gloom Eeyore! Anyways, regarding the subject of schoolin...

Re: Is there any way back?
Really interested to read all of this. I'm pretty much at the same place, being thirty something and just finding out about dyspraxia. Your post Elessar could have been written by me. Interested to know how you're doing.

Hi, just found this site after recently finding out I'm dyspraxic. Can relate to so much of this and feels really good to know I'm not crazy, and not stupid. Kinda always known that but also known something was off kilter - good to finally put a name to it and have some answers.
