Re: maintaining relationships
I do think that a hard question. I have had a number of online relationships, but only a small number in real life. I find it hard, to find people to accept me for who I am and not judge me when they first meet me. I know from my experience, I can easily fall head over heals for another female, but ...

Re: Do you have/want children?
This is an hard question for me to answer, and I think it would be needed to be answered by my partner and I at the required time. One of the things that would put me off having children, is if they do have Dyspraxia would they grow up and have the major issues like I did. For example being bullied ...

Re: tips when I see the doctor
Lucky for me, I have got a supportive family who would come along with me to my doctors. If I am not comfortable going by myself. So if you have got a family member or friend who you can trust, I would take them along with you. If the doctor do not want to listen, ask to see another one. I take it ...

IF there was a cure for Dyspraxia?
Would you take it, or would you not? This is something that goes through my head a lot from time to time. If there is known cure for Dyspraxia would I want to take it or not? A part of me would, so that I was normal and didn't have this disability any more. Yet another part of me thinks, if I was ...

Re: HELP with 15yr old Son
Hi Everyone, I've never posted on a forum before and I'd really like some help and advise from you all. Re: Pets!
I have two, one tortoise since I was 1 years old and a guinea pig who is about 3 years old now. That guinea pig was rather unexpected. My mum had lost a guinea pig a few years go, and we had two old female lefts. We know that if a guinea pig is left by it self, it will die of a broken heart. So we ...

Re: Telephone Conversations
Oh I hate telephones, and I do and avoid using them has much as I can. If I am at work, if I need to contact somebody I always prefer using email as it is easier for me and I do not have to sit there worrying about the other person on the other end understanding me or anything. One of the worse ...

Re: dyspraxia & depression
I do have depression, and at times I do believe they go hand in hand. But I do not think that Dyspraxia can be the soul course of depression. For me, I can trace back my depression to when I was in secondary school and being bullied by my so called friends/classmates. This started at the end of the ...

Re: Dyspraxic..learning to drive! HELP!
I must had spent about 2 and half years learning to drive, before giving up on it. The driving instructor was really good, I only had an hour lesson each week and she never pressured me into doing anything that was too much for me or stressed me out. At first she only let me out on the county roads ...

Re: Grammer and Writing reports for work
I would get a few books on something that interests you, if you start to enjoy to reading your spelling and grammar should improve on its own. If that doesn't help then at least it might expand your vocabulary, new words are good words and they make you seem smarter. I do like reading, and I ...

Hello I am a civil servant and a part of my job is to write reports, on research that I have completed. I am actually very good on the research part, finding out the information that I need from different checks etc. But I am having major issues with the writing of the reports. This is one of the ...

Hello I thought that I would introduce myself, because most of the time when I join a forum I do not. My name is capbiker, a lot of my online friends just call me cap and I am 32 year old. I was diagnosed with Dyspraxic when I was a kid and had it all my life. I know that I have got it quite bad I ...
