Yes hypermobility is common for dyspraxics, its not something that soley dyspraxic people have but it is common to have it as well as dyspraxicia.

Re: keep a standard 4.5
Tablets are really useful, I would recommend getting one - why: - You can do things such as watch movies, TV, take notes etc a lot more easley then you would on your phone as the screen is bigger and much more easier to use it then having to zoom in on the phone and then press the wrong button as it...

Re: no direction sense
I would recommend getting a smart phone (for maps etc) or GPS device. I could say to print out maps with directions on it for where you need to get to regularly or get maps of the local area. Yes this could help but like a lot / all of us hear we find it very hard to read maps and follow directions ...

Re: frustrated
How bad is the damage to the items - is it just the screen (often is) or more major, I would get the items checked out at the Apple genius bar so you know the extent of the damage and from there deiced weather to repair or replace. I too lose and brake things quite a lot, for me yes it is very much ...

Re: Daydreaming at work
I would recommend talking to the HR department about your dyspraxicia and if you have a formal diagnosis then give them a copy of this as well as what adjustments that you think would help you but also are reasonable. For example if your not going to be focusing in the morning then is it possible if...

Re: My New Attitude :)
Well done, glad that you have been able to realize that what people think of you dosent bother you like it did and that you can stand up and be confident in yourself. I am sure that having a more calm attitude has helped you see this, i think that you should bring your new attitude into work and all...

Re: Unskilled factory/packing work difficult?
I have had experience of working in a factory where I was doing tray wash - it was on a production line basis and the job was basically to eather stack or de stack trays - it was a fast paced job and really my first paid job when I was getting myself back into work so in at the deep end really. I st...

Re: Undiagnosed & Fed Up Waiting
I don't think dyspraxicia can be outgrown, yes it can be overcome to a certain extent as we use coping strategies even if we know it or not. This can mask some affects of dyspraxicia but it does not mean your not dyspraxic its just a lot better dealt with. - I don't want to make it sound like a nega...

Re: Lust and Commitment Problems
I know this is a late reply (been off the forum as the last moth has been very busy for me). About the whole marriage and kids thing - I completely have the same view, I don't want to get married and I certantly don't want to have kids. If anyone goes on at me about it i just say simply that I am no...

I have however been in the job hunting situation - I did volentery work and also did temporary / agency work at various warehouses and similer jobs etc. I am not sure what the job mar...

Re: The Future for my relationship.
I know others have probably said the same thing but take a step back - you are both young and you really don't need to think about having a family, settling down together etc etc. Now or for at least a long amount of time so really try to reflect on things and not let it overwhelm you. just let thin...
